Hotkey for running a schedule?

Hi,

I use Spam Sieve with Entourage, and have created a Tool/Schedule called
Delete Spam, which appears in my Tools menu and empties my Spam folder. Is
there any way I can assign this schedule to a hotkey?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve!

If you're using Mac OS X 10.3 you can use the Keyboard System
Preferences pane to do this. The Finder's Help menu can give you
guidance but it's almost intuitive.

Make a note of the exact name of the menu command and then quit
Entourage. Open the Keyboard & Mouse System Preference and click the " +
" button to add your command and assign a hot key combo.

This even works with items you place in the Applescript menu.

Hope this helps! bill

Wow, Bill, this works, how cool! CTRL-CMD-D now deletes my Spam. And it even
shows up in the menu item itself. Excellent, thanks!
