Hotmail erro messages

I just got Office 2004 and I've set up my Hotmail account. It recieved two
email messages and won't do any more. I keep getting an error message that
says "uknown error -50" occured. "Could not retrieve mail". But no real
explanation for it.

I've gone through the FAQ online and I know that Hotmail restricted it's
Entourage use to subscribers, buit I DO subscribe for a larger Hotmail
acount.

Any ideas what this could be?

Just another thought...is there a compatibility problem with Hotmail,
Entourage and Tiger?

I wish Microsoft would read this newsgroup more. I too am having issues with
Entourage ... -50 error. It's a pain in the you know what!

Does anyone know of a solution yet?

The strange thing is that things work fine now (at least they have for about
6 days) on one of my computers and not on the other. I have checked for all
the updates on both.

I'm running Mac OS 10.2.8 and version 10 of Entourage. I also get problems.
My Hotmail account is in the list but with no folders. This is what I got
when it tried to connect:

Error - The Hotmail folder list could not be retrieved.

Explanation - HTTP error. The server cannot fulfill the request.

This is an old fault and I'm surprised no-one has come up with an
explanation or a fix. Is this a Hotmail vs Microsoft thing?

I should have also mentioned I am on NTL cable broadband.
