hotmail in entourage

Hi

i have a paid hotmail account and i set it up to work with entourage
since i used to use it wih outlook, so i was able to get all my emails
but when a new email arrives it won't download it until i click hotmail
in the send and receive button or if i quit and launch entourage again

i have configured a schedule to do it every 2 minutes but it won't
work,

anybody had the same problem? any thoughts?

Hi.
What version of Entourage are you using? I just tested a similar Hotmail
schedule in Entourage 2004, and my original suspicion has been confirmed.
Hotmail accounts are not meant to be checked that frequently via a schedule.
When I tried to save my test schedule (also set to 2 minutes), the following
message showed up:

As recommended by Hotmail, repeating schedules only connect after a minimum
of 30 minutes. Note that manual connections do not have this restriction.

Try using a schedule that checks less frequently, such as every 30 minutes
(as suggested by Entourage), and I don't think there should be much of a
problem. If you really need to check more frequently, do so manually, or use
MSN Messenger.

im using version 2004, it is a pain this problem, i set up a schedule
to check email every 2 minutes but it won't work, i thought entourage
was going to work in the same way outlook did, but no, hopefully this
will be fix in the near future.
