there might be several explanations for your problem. First of all, you're
still running Entourage 10.0. Download the latest update from Mactopia
<
http://www.microsoft.com/mac>, and you should get version 10.1.6. See if
you can access your Hotmail account now.
If you still can't, then you're out of luck. Microsoft decided to prevent
Entourage/Outlook (Express) users from accessing free Hotmail accounts
as part of their "war against spam". As I understand it, the transition is
still going on, so some Entourage users might be able to access Hotmail,
whereas others might not. If using your Hotmail account from within
Entourage is that important to you, you should consider upgrading to a
~$20/year Hotmail Plus account, which, unlike the free accounts, can be
synchronised with your e-mail software.
