Hotsync issues

Hi Angela and Larry,

I have been able to synch my Entourage 2004 address book and calendar
with my Tungsten C handheld. What caught my eye was the known
compatibility issue between using the newer Palm applications called
Calendar, Contacts, Memos and Tasks.

I think the key is to be using version 4.5.1P of Address, Memo and To Do
List: Anything more recent than those (on your handheld Palm) will fall
under the known issue category.

For Entourage Conduit Settings, in the Palm Desktop 4.2.1 software, go
to HotSync> Conduit Settings, and when the main window opens, be sure to
select the correct profile. In the User window, select Entourage Conduit
by clicking on it one time, and then click the Conduit Settings button
to the right of the selected User Profile. This should open up a new
window called Entourage Conduit Settings. If you're like me, and have
multiple identities, select the appropriate one.

Hope this helps!

Eric,

Great tip about highlighting the conduit name, and then clicking on
the the Conduit Settings button. That seems to work for me for now.
I'll post a further note if the problem returns. Thanks!

Hi Larry,

Sad to say, I've had to stop using Palm Desktop Software and the Hotsync
feature with Entourage 2004 as just after the synch, my iBook started
having start-up related problems and I had to remove all the Palm
software from my iBook to resolve the problem.
