HotSync not working!!!

I am trying to use Entourage (previously used Palm Desktop) and I am
trying to get it to hotSync / synchronize with my handheld (Palm
Zire). each time I try, I get the
"error message 1852402768 synchronization failed".

I'm using Entourage 2001 with Palm 0S 4 on Mac 0S 9.2

Any sugesstions, please

- Are you using the SR-1 update for Office 2001?
- Do you only have the Entourage conduit in your conduits folder? If you
have the Palm conduits in that folder, they should be removed.
- If you place only the Palm Desktop conduits in the conduits folder, and
remove the Entourage conduit, are you able to sync?
- Have you considered backing up your data in Palm Desktop, and then
performing a hard reset of the device?
