Microsoft Word and Poetry
Might you consider this simple request?
For the poets it will be for the best!
To help facilitate our poetic passion
And to do so in style and with fashion
Why not include a rhyming dictionary
As finding words that rhyme can be arbitrary
And set up hints on rhyming schemes
So we can pump out a poem that gleams
Would it be too much to ask?
Your programmers to work on that task
And as to the Spelling and Grammar
Must the spell check come down like a hammer?
For with meter and rhyme
Contractions are needed all the time
I am tired of being told I am using passive voice
When that is exactly what is my choice
So a kinder gentler Microsoft Word
Tailored for a Poet would be preferred
