How can I avoid using password when sending or receiving messages?

I just bought a new computer and am using Microsoft Office Outlook. I have
to enter my password each time I try to receive new messages or send a
message. Can this be avoided? Thank you.

Obvious Question: Did you check the "Remember Password" box?

I've checked that box but it comes up unchecked the next time I access new
messages.
