The link doesn't show in Edit / Links and this is explained in Excel Help.
But I couldn't get rid of the message 'Unable to open (the document
path....). The Internet site reports that the item you requested couldn't be
found.'
The original docs created in Excel 2003 and one of them opsted in SharePoint
shared area while the other was deleted.
