How can I check my e-mail when I am not home?

Is it possible to check my e-mail on the internet?

There are several options, but your best bet is to see if your provider
offers a webmail of some sort. Just be aware that mail you read and delete
in your webmail may not be available to you in Entourage, depending on the
specifics of your provider.

MSU, for example, has webmail at <https://mail.msu.edu/>.

I have used mail.msu.edu but just stared my entourage and it has
forwared all my messages from there to entourage so I can no longer
check them at the msu site. Was just wondering if entourage had a
online site where I could check it.

Entourage is a program that exists on your computer, it does not exist
"online" without getting into complicated concepts like remote access of
your computer from the Internet.

When Entourage gets your email, it just downloads it from mail.msu.edu.
Unless your email system is atypical (which is possible), I bet you can
access your email using webmail prior to you downloading it into Entourage.
Once you download it into Entourage, it /may/ no longer be available on
webmail (unless you're using IMAP).

Give it a try, but make sure you're trying it when you know you have new
mail.

It sounds to me that what mooneyje wants to do is to check the box labeled
"Leave mail on server" in Account Settings ... Options.
