How can I create a distribution list with outside email addresses included?

We are changing to an Exchange server for our email system using outlook
2003 clients. We are currently using an outside email system which allows
groups in which you can add any email address to the group. The way I
understand you can only add internal addresses in outlook distribution
lists. Is there anyway to add outside address to the distribution list? We
have our own domain xxxxxxxxx.com though it hasn't went live yet. HELP
please!!!

Not so. You can add any address you want to a DL created in Outlook.
