How can I download the address book on myexchange server into Entourage?

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I have connected Entourage to my Exchange server and am able to send and receive messages OK. However, I cannot access the public address book on the exchange server which gives me access to all the members of our organization. As this address book is constantly being added to or modified I need to be able to access it online. I have just made the switch from PC and Outlook and am still unfamiliar with Entourage.

Another issue is to be able to download this address book so that I can access it when working offline.

Any ideas?

This address book is called the GAL (Global Address List). TO be able to
query it, you have to properly configure the LDAP information for your
Exchange account.

Have a look at my instructions here for connecting Entourage 2004 to
Exchange. They still apply for Entourage 2008.

Hope this helps!
