Since you are in a Office newsgroup, open Word. Go to Insert, Symbol.
Select the font you are using. Find the Degree symbol and click on Insert
or review the shortcut key sequence and Autocorrect {at bottom of insert
window}. Hint: it is character code 176.

If you are not using Word, open Windows Character Map and copy and paste the
symbol or use the shortcut keys.

I was wondering who the "Respected Sir" was in this group. Now I know! ;-)

As someone who has frequent occasion to use °F and °C, might I
mention that in Word the autocorrect function is very useful. I
have set up ~F and ~C to be corrected to the temperature
symbols.
