How can I keep Powerpoint from cutting wmv files short?

While designing a powerpoint 2003 version presentation, I have found that wmv
movies play to their full extent while in the design stage but when displayed
as a pre-timed slideshow, clips are cut short by up to a full second. Is
there a way to keep the integrity of the clips without having to babysit the
show?

Are you setting the slides to automatically advacne after XX seconds? If so,
lengthen the time and see if it makes a difference.
