how can i lock slide from futher moving even when i click

i have made some links in PPT and i want that when the link opens the
specific slide should not proceed further means i want to make it work only
with buttons and links not mouse pointer or "page down" key

Slides show > set up show > kiosk mode will disable everything except nav
buttons . It will affect the whole presentation though.

How about going into Slideshow- Slide Transition and on-tick both
Advance Slide - On Mouse Click and Automatically After boxes. Do not
tick Apply all slides and this will affect this slide only.

Then you can add your own button,
