How can I rotate the circular organization diagram on the draw to.

Hi S.D.,

I'm assuming you're using Word 2003 and you're referring to
the cycle (arrowed) diagram).

The default layout is one arrow on top and one left and one right.
The diagram toolbar that comes up lets you rotate the text forward
or backward one 'arrow' leap at a time and if you turn off autolayout
you can adjust the size, curve, etc on the individual arrows.

If you want to complete the diagram and then rotate the whole thing,
text, arrows etc, you can use the following technique by converting
it to a non editable graphic (or keep the original in one document
and copy the graphic version to your target document so you can
still adjust the original as needed).

A. In Tools=>Customize=>/Commands\

1. select 'Drawing' in the left column

2. select 'Select Multiple Objects' in the right column
and drag that command to the drawing toolbar,
next to the 'select object' (white arrow) icon.

B. Click anywhere in your Diagram and from the drawing
toolbar use the 'Select Multiple Objects' icon and choose
[Select All].

C. Choose Edit=>Cut (Ctrl+X), then move to a blank spot in
a document (outside of the diagram) and use Edit=>Paste Special
and choose the GIF format to paste into your document.

D. With the pasted graphic still selected, choose, from the
Drawing Toolbar, Draw=>Text Wrapping to be sure you have
not chosen 'in line with text'.

E. Use the green 'handle' on the graphic to rotate it.

F. To rotate just the arrows but leave the text 'vertical'
(although it may not associate properly) use Edit=>Paste Special
and choose Word Picture as the paste type

Hi Bob,

Thank you so much for your help. It worked so I can make the changes I need
to make! There was one part that I could not get to work. At the very end,
item F., there was no "Word Picture" to choose as the paste type so I could
not rotate just the arrows. Rotating the arrows would be a nice feature.
Any suggestions?

Thank you.
