how can I set up a letter head from contacts

I want to send an ordinary letter and use the information from outlook to
merge to word in a click. Can this be done. Annoyingly outlook seems not to
count letters under the heading "communicate" a sign of the times I suppose!

Office 2007? You need to do it the other way - in Word add the addressbook
to the Quick Access Toolbar and use that.
