how can i shorten the date format in Task columns

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I want to shorten the date formati, from "Tuesday November 11, 2008" to just show in the column as "11/11/08". I can't find any way to make this happen. Does anybody have any idea how to accomplish this?

Hi Sean!

You should be able to adjust one of the settings in Apple menu -->
System Preferences... --> International --> Formats tab --> Customize...
button. Probably the Full format is being used.

Keep in mind that this could changed the appearance of dates elsewhere
on your computer that use the Long format.

I know that I can create multiple date formats in the System setting, but how do I tell Entourage which format to use. It's pulling the "Full" format, which I don't want to delete because I use elsewhere.
