How can I stop my Delegate receiving my meeting notices

Unlike most people with "Delegate" problems, my assistant can access
my calendar just fine.

My issue is that I don't need her to receive copies of my meeting
notices; just to go in and look at my calendar when anyone asks if I'm
free. With me and my colleagues' meetings, she gets hundreds of
emails a day that she doesn't need to see.

On Outlook there's a checkbox allowing you to opt in or out of meeting
emails when you assign delegates. I see no such option in Entourage,
and neither does my company's helpdesk.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have Entourage 2004, version 11.2.5.

I'm not sure about the particulars, but I can tell you that from time
to time, I've had to deal with delegate issues by using someone else's
computer to sign on to my account using Outlook and making the changes
there. That might be the best bet for you.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. My Helpdesk tells me that changes in
Outlook on another machine won't be reflected in Entourage on mine,
but we'll see.....

that would be true if the changes you were making were client-only
such as certain outlook 'rules' or other settings (views, etc).

in the case of delegation and similar permissions, most of the
settings are applied on the exchange server and would be reflected in
whatever client you use to access the server (including entourage)
that supports those features.

in the case of delegation, permissions are definitely server-based.

i work in a mixed mac/windows environment and use my outlook on
windows to make any changes on the exchange server pertaining to my
account. i also have to say that outlook is much more usable than
entourage (that itself does not act like a native macOS application).
