how can I stop numbering on last 3 pages

I have a ten-page document. The last three pages are
appendices. I want page numbers to appear on the first
seven pages but not on the appendices pages. How do I stop
the page numbering on the last three pages?

Insert a section break. Unlink the sections (turn off Same as Previous) and
delete the page number field from Section 2.
