How can I turn JPEG photos into a PowerPoint presentation

I have a folder of holiday snaps that I want to turn into a PowerPoint
presentation with music. I have no idea how to use PowerPoint but I have
managed to make the initial facing page slide. I now need to import the JPEG
photos and make the slide show. How do I go about this? I think I can get the
music to work with Music Span but I need the slide show first. Please help?
