How can I view two workbooks on a dual monitor setup?

I have a dual monitor and I would like to open an excel spreadsheet on one
monitor and a different spreadsheet on the second monitor. Office XP does not
allow me to open it as multiple programs. It only opens the different
spreadsheet within the program.

Stretch the Excel window across BOTH monitors, and then place the sheets
side by side.

Funny, my Excel XP let me do exactly what you're wanting to do. Have you
tried to open a second instance of Excel? If you simply open the second
file with File/Open, you will get both in one program window.
