How can you open 2 sessions of powerpoint

Hi Guys,

We run Xp Corp and powerpoint 2000 - but unlike words or
exceli cann open multiple sessions of powerpoint? Is this
problem specific to me? Ihavetried looking in the file
assosiation and checking on the web with no luck. - Does
anyone have any ideas?

Ronny,

Is there something you were trying to do that you could not?

In PowerPoint, you can have multiple presentation files open within the same
edit session, but can only run a single presentation at a time (without 3rd
party add-ins).

As others have pointed out, it would help to know what you want to do.
Given the right hardware/software it is possible to show one
presentation in slide show mode and check presenter notes. It is also
trivially easy to show multiple presentations in slide show mode.
However, only one can be on the screen at any one time. To switch from
one to the other use ALT+TAB.
