How cancel "slide show"

My computer is only showing powerpoint in "Slideshow" without the icons to go
to "normal view"

Have you change the extension of the file to .ppt instead of .pps?

Dougpowl,
Maybe you only have the PowerPoint viewer installed. You can only edit when
you have the full PowerPoint on your system.
