How do and what should I change my security settings to?

I've just installed Microsoft Project on my PC and when I try to start a new
project, this message pops up:

"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page. As a result, the page may not display correctly".

After that, I cannot utilize any of the functions within Microsoft Project.

Any assistance would be most welcome!

Can you get to Tools/Options/Security (tab)/Macro Security...?
You can change the settings there. You will need to close and restart
Project.

Hi Birdman,

Are you by chance using Project Web Access or attempting to connect to a
Project Server? The message about ActiveX controls is usually a web
browser message and may indicate that the Project Server site is not
added to the trustes sites zone in IE.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

I've changed the settings in the Macro Security tab and still no difference.
I've changed it to each individual setting and restarted it and still nothing.

Any other suggestions?
