How do I add a phone number WITHOUT the dialing box coming up??

Everytime i try to add a phone number in Microsoft Outlook Contacts, the
phone dial box pops up. All I want to do is add a phone number, fax number,
ect...
Does someone know how to do this.

You mean the dialog that asks for area code and other phone information?
Once you complete it, it will stop coning up.
