How do I add music to a slide show presentation and then save the.

I'm making a slide show of family pictures and want to add music to the
presentation. I know that I can play a CD as the slide show runs on my
computer, but I want to save the music along with the presentation to a CD so
I can give it as a gift. Is this possible with Powerpoint, or do I need
additional software?
