How do I add time & date stamp when typing notes in Outlook 2003

When I am calling prospects using the contact note section, I have to type in
the date and time of each contact. Most contact programs have a date and
time stamp button to shorten this process. i.e.

12/13/05 1:26 PM Spk with Mike Jones about etc. I have to type the date and
time.
