How do I backup and move my contacts to a server location?

I have created a backup copy of my outlook contacts on one computer (*.pst)
and I am trying to move them to a location on the server so that I can load
them onto another computer. When I try to move the file the computer tell me
that it cannot do it because something is in use somewhere.

Close Outlook and reboot before you move it.
