How do I center within each panel for a three panel brochure?

I am building a 3 panel brochure from scratch using Microsoft Publisher. How
do I center within each panel? For instance, the right panel which will be
the front of the brochure.

Create each panel as a separate frame and use that frame as a master for
alignment purposes for all objects within that panel.
To insure that all panels are exactly the same size go to Arrange/Layout
Guides and set all margin guides to 0. Set columns at 3. Each panel should
span from pink lines to pink lines or blue lines to blue. Either way all
three panel will be the same size.

An important consideration is your printer margin limitation. If you are printing the
brochure yourself, look at your printer documentation to see how close to the right
edge you can print and center your panels accordingly.

Create a rectangle the size of the panel (you can use Snap To Guides for
this to make life easier(.

Select the rectangle and the shape you want to centre.

Use the Align/Distribute function on the Arrange menu to align the centres
of the shapes.

Enable snapping to guides, and drag the rectangle back into place so that it
is flush against all four layout guides.

The commercial unprinted brochure stock is scored at
3.625 or 3 5/8
3.6875 or 3 11/16
3.6875 or 3 11/16
Probably doesn't help much, most folks just use the three equal columns.

The machine my local printer guy uses places folds at 3 19/32, 3 3/4. 3
11/32 using regular 8 1/2 x 11 stock. When the same little machine does a
"Z" fold the panels are all equal.

I'm no math expert, but those numbers don't add up to 11 inches. Print shops have
their own setups, I was only referring to brochure stock you buy at an office supply
store.

My problem is not in knowing where to score the brochure. My problem is in
working within each indiviual panel. My cursor is always at the left. For
instance, what can I do so that my margins will be from the left edge to the
first score, from the first score to the second score, or from the second
score to the right edge and therefore work within each panel.
