How do I change the sequence in a powerpoint presentation?

I want to use Powerpoint for a "game" for our youth group. I need to be able
to skip around according to the choices that are made. Is that possible with
Powerpoint?

Yes. The simplest thing that you can do is insert hyperlinks and/or
buttons. With this, you someone can click on some text or a button (or
any object in PowerPoint) and jump to another slide in the presentation.
Beyond that, you can have buttons trigger animations, jump to web pages
or other documents, or with scripting allow users to type something and
base what happens on what is typed. The links at this entry from the PPT
FAQ should get you started:

You can use action settings and hyperlinks -- and even triggers in newer
versions of PPT -- to accomplish this.
