how do i check the checkbox by a textbox?

thx for the information..
actually i want to make a checkbox which can be automatically check if i
type something into my textbox..
for example, there is one checkbox and one textbox. If i enter something
into the textbox, the checkbox will be automatically checked..
could someone give me the code for doing that? thx..
