I am looking for a FP procedure or javascipt source to conditionally load one
of two webpages, based upon the user's selection in a drop-down box. Once
the selection has been made in the drop-down box, a regular Submit button is
clicked. At this point, depending upon the selection made in the drop-down
box, I want to load one of two possible web pages contained within the same
web site. For example:
On pagezero.htm:
Drop-down box choices: 1 or 2 (field name: next_choice)
Submit button
After clicking on the Submit button on pagezero.htm:
If choice 1 (next_choice = "1") - load pageone.htm
If choice 2 (next_choice = "2") - load pagetwo.htm
Once the Submit button is clicked, we are done with that page
(pagezero.htm), ready to go on to pageone.htm or pagetwo.htm.
I suppose that the conditional loading of the next page could be tied
directly to when the drop-down selection is made, if this is any easier, but
I would prefer to give the visitor to the site one more step before
proceeding to the selected next page, as the drop-down box is validated to
ensure that a selection has actually made before proceeding.
