How do I consecutively number several different sheets in a workb.

I have 6 sheets in one workbook that contain several pages each. I need to
number these, but when I try, they each number within their own sheet, and I
need ALL the sheets to be numbered consecutively. Can anyone help? Thanks a
million!

If I understand correctly, you may be able to set a different start page
number under File>Page setup...>Page>First Page number. This is usually set
to auto but can be set to any starting number you want

If you are talking about page numbers when printing, try selecting the
entire workbook radio button on the print dialog box. You will need to be
sure you have the "down then over" or "over then down" setting correct on
the sheet tab, but that should work if my assumption about printed page
numbers is correct.
