How do I convert a powerpoint presentation to a widescreen presen.

I am a prosthodontist and would like to make widescreen presentations were I
can put before and after smiles for instant next to each other,

Niel,

PowerPoint plays at whatever resolution your machine is set at (unless you
intentionally cahnge it). Does your video card support the wide screen
(16:9) ratio?
