How do I convert Kodak Imaging Annotations to Office 2003 Imaging.

Any annotations made (TIFF document) in Kodak Imaging can not be seen in
Office 2003 Imaging. What needs to be done to be able to see them?

Hi JCE,

Annotations can be 'public' or 'private code' listed within
a TIFF file. The Wang/Eastman/Kodak imaging annotations
have a code that identifies them to a TIFF reader software.

MS Office Document imaging appears to use the same TIFF
specification practice but neither product appears to 'look'
for the annotation code of the other.

Once the annotation is set using 'Make Permanent' (part of
the graphic) it's viewable in either product, but no longer
an 'annotation'.
