How do I convert my contacts to an address book in outlook xp?

trip

I have read the help file on this topic, but when I bring up the properties
of my contacts folder and look at the "Outlook Address Book" tab, the radio
buttun "show this folder as an e-mail address book" is greyed out and
unselectable. My ISP is MSN and I use the Outlook Connector to get the HTTP
msn server to work with Outlook XP. Any ideas anyone?

thanks in advance!

Have you added the Outlook Address Book Service to your profile?
Do you have Contacts that reside in a Contacts Folder in a local PST file?

No, I have not added the Outlook Address Book Service to my profile. At least
that I am aware of, how would I do this? And yes I do have a contacts folder
in a local PST file, but the option I described in the initial posting is
greyed out there as well.

Ok, I have successfully added the Outlook Address Book Service and now can
view email addresses from my "Outlook Today" MSN contacts folder in the
Outlook address book. Now I have a new question, is there a way to
synchronize the MSN contacts folder (not viewable offline) with a contacts
folder in a local pst file? Or is there someother work around to maintain the
address book when offline?

thanks for you help!

This should be possible with Outlook Connector, but only if you have an MSN
premium account.
