Teacher trying with technology

I am a teacher and grad student working on a slide show project. I have
windows xp, with the student version of power point labeled "June 2004
Applications Student Media Microsoft Office XP Professional." I am creating
a slide show presentation which I NEED to save to DVD to be viewed on a
television. I did save it to a DVD, but it will not play on the tv. Is this
possible, and what am I doing wrong? Now I'm running out of time to make
this work. Thanks in advance!

Hi, teacher,

Try PPT2DVD , it can help you create PowerPoint to DVD and view them on
TV, complete with music, video, narration record, and selection menu.
For more helps, you may have a look at http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com

Good Luck and Happy Teacher's Day : )

Thank you, I am going to try this one on my own....sounds less complicated,

Am wondering if you ever got your power point converted to DVD. Am trying
to do the same thing. Did you have to buy a special program to do this?

yes, got it converted, but was a real pain. i went to the websites
suggested, ppt to dvd worked after lots of tears and frustration. i am not
very computer savvy, but am working on it. ppttodvd has a free download (or
it did), but we ended up buying a program in the meantime bc I wasn't having
much initial success w/that.
http://ppt-to-dvd.com is the site, good luck.
