How do I create a tickbox in a document that can be clicked on and off with a
single mouseclick?

There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in
documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do
not. Those in protected forms are single click. Others can be single-click
if you put the correct macro in your template or in a global template. Take
