I am trying to format cd labels using the Avery Deign Pro media. How can I
curve the text to fit with the curve of the cd?
Perhaps you should consider NOT.
Suggest you search
www.langa.com for problems with CD labels.
In summery.
If the label is miss-aligned you will unbalance the CD. As CD drive
speeds increase, the effect of an unbalance CD increases.
The label side of a CD is a thin layer of plastic. The CD information is
contained under this layer. The glue used on the CD labels contains a
solvent that can pass through the thin plastic layer and destroy the CD
data.
Suggest:
You consider hand print labels using a Sharpie brand pen. The Sharpie
brand pen has a soft point and a quick drying solvent that does not damage
the CD. Or, purchase pens labeled for CD use {more costly}.
Purchase a printer designed to print directly on the CD with quick
drying inks.
