How do I delete all Entourage Calendar events older than 1 month?

After moving my Entourage 11.1.0 Calendar over to my Palm Treo 600 ...
any word/number searches I do causes the Treo to crash. My goal is to
wipe out any old data (say everything older than 1 month) in Calendar
to clean out any corrupted data and start from there. I set Entourage
preferences to delete any non-recurring events older than 1 month - but
they remain in Calendar. Any ideas? With thanks, don

Do an 'advanced find' for all calendar events older than that date, select
them in the resultant list and delete them from there.

Open the Calendar. In the Views List on the left slide of the screen, click
the triangle next to "Calendar Views" to expand the folder if it's not
already expanded, and then click the "All Events" view. Then, click the
"Date" column header to sort by date, and delete the block of events older
than a month.

Also note that you can set the Handheld Synchronization conduit to only
synchronize recent events with the Treo. Go to /Applications/Palm/, and
open HotSync Manager. Under the "HotSync" menu, select "Conduit Settings".
Double-click the Entourage Conduit (or click once and click the "Conduit
Settings" button). Next to "Calendar", click the "Settings" button. Under
"Date Range Options", choose to "Synchronize calendar events in this date
range only:", and choose "5 weeks before you synchronize", "All weeks after
you synchronize". Click OK twice to save settings.
