How do I delete old voice recordings with slides?

I created a slide show with voice recordings with each slide. When I start
the slide show from the start and link forward all works fine.

If I go back to a previous slide, an old voice recording appears or a voice
recording that does not match the slide appears.

I want the latest voice recording to always play with the slide.
