How do I display 4 pages at once ( 1 x 4 page view)?

The menu options ( view --> zoom --> many pages) allow a person to view 3
pages at once. I need to view 4. Is there an add-on or script or
configuration tweak that I can use to view 4 pages simultaneously?

I use MS Word 2003 on a dual display (2 monitors, both 1600x1200)
workstation. It would be nice to be able to edit my documents 4 pages at a
time.

Thanks.

Hi Ziaboy,

What version of Word are you using.

The number of vertical pages you can 'drag' from
the View=>Zoom=>Many Pages or from the Print Preview
Multipage view icon depends on the amount of screen
space Word thinks you have to reduce the size of each
page displayed to 10% or more of its actual size.

For example, close all of the toolbars from View=>Toolbars
then use the same View=>Zoom setting to see if you can
now do 4 pages vertically, or on your desktop, right
click, choose Properties=>Settings and go to a higher
screen resolution to see if that changes the zoom
ability. (I don't know if dual monitor settings will
affect this choice or not), but at 800x600 I can do
3 pages, at 1024 I can zoom to 5 pages vertically.

For horizontal zooming the same 'how much space' do you
have available and the 10% minimum size can also be
a factor. If you have the Taskpane open, for example
on the right side of the screen, closing it and having
your Word document open full screen should let you
choose additional pages to zoom to horizontally.

One method to have the Multipage view icon available
from the Standard toolbar rather than needing to
use View=>Zoom isto display multiple pages
to display is to have your
document open, then click on the 'Print Preview' icon.

When you're in Print preview click on View=>Toolbars
and display the 'Standard' toolbar.

Then choose from the menu Tools=>Customize and while
holding down the shift key you can drag a copy of the
Print Preview icon for multiple pages to the Standard
toolbar and use it once you close the customize dialog.
