How do I embed music from a CD to play throughout my powerpoint p.

I'm putting together a powerpoint presentation and would like to add music.
I want to have the music play continuously as the powerpoint transitions from
slide to slide. I'm looking to add the music from a CD. Does anyone know
how I can do that? Thanks in advance.
