If you are familiar with VBA code you can use the following article to help
you with this: http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/calcage.htm

This was helpful in calculating a persons age but I still do not know how to
make outlook show a birthday in the calendar in the format "Tom Jones 50
Birthday" or "Tom Jones - Age 50"

Well, I'm not a programmer, but I don't think there is a way to
programmatically calculate the age within the subject line. You might poke
around www.outlookcode.com and see if you can find any additional information
there.

Personally I just put the year of the person's birth in square brackets in
the subject line -- for example, "Tom Jones's Birthday [1955]". I don't use
parentheses because Outlook sometimes moves anything you put in parentheses
in the subject line into the Location field.
