How do I get Endnote running through Microsoft word?

Hi,
I'm tyring to run Endnote 7 through Microsoft Word 2003. EndNote’s
installation program is supposed to automatically detect my version of Word
and install Cite While You Write support but in my case it is not. To date I
have:
1)Originally I loaded Endnote before Word.
2) Since uninstalled Endnote and then reloaded it and restarted
3) Repeated this making sure I removed all remnants of Endnote from my system

Still there is no Endnote.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
