how do i get oulook to get mail from yahoo?

I have yahoo accounts, but cannot get outlook to recognize them... am
computer illiterate, so put answer in laymans terms please.

Do you have a paid yahoo account? You need an account that supports POP3
(free accounts don't) before you can use it with Outlook.

In SBC, or Verizon territory? Switch your service to DSL. Verizon offers
Yahoo! as an option, and it is a part of the deal with SBC. Either way gets
you access to the Yahoo! POP3 servers...

In the U.S., the yahoo.com accounts lack POP3 access unless you pay $19.99
per year for Yahoo! Mail Plus, their premium service.
