How do I get portrait header/footer on landscape page in Word 200.

I have been trying to write an assignment for university with a number of
landscape sections in but want to keep the header and footer orientation as
portrait throughout and my trusty Office for Dummies bible has finally failed
me. It's probably something really simple but can anyone kindly tell me how
to achieve this effect?

Great start guys, thanks a lot. That is OK for a quick temporary fix but what
do I need to do if I have to send finished documents electronically?

Well, the described method works in Word 97, 2000, 2002, and 2003, and
survives conversion to .pdf format, so why can't you send the document
electronically?
