How do I get that little envelope on the system tray back?

Outlook got into a crashed state where the app was dead,
but the little envelope in the system tray was still
there. So I stupidly clicked on the envelope icon and
selected something like "make icon disappear". Well that
made it disappear forever, even after I rebooted and
started a good instance of Outlook.

How do I get it back? Please help!

Tools...Options
Click the Email Options button.
Then click the Advanced Email Options button
Check off "Show an envelope icon in the system tray".
