How do I get the thumbnail images to show

Hi,

I'm helping out another user. They have Powerpoint 2000 ( recently
installed ). In the past, on another computer, the users could view
thumnails of jpeg files on the LH of the "normal' view mode of Powerpoint.
Now just blank icons show up where the thumbnails used to be.

What version of PowerPoint was on the other system? PowerPoint 2000 displays
the outline on the left. PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 have an additional tab that
allows you to view the thumbnails if you like.
